The Danko small dual agent aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles are built in accordance with the FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5220-19 dated 12/07/1993 and designed to accommodate the needs of most Airport Facilities by offering a wide variety of options including pumps, booster reels, foam systems, and customer body designs.
The bodies are modular designs consisting of independent body modules and/or subassemblies and welded to an independent heavy duty support framework. They are constructed of aluminum sheets using a bend and break method of construction and composed of 3-4 compartments on each side and a rear center cargo area for the pump and complete fire fighting system.
These vehicles feature Hydro-Chem® Technology of which the foam discharge encapsulates the dry chemical to ensure extended protection and precise application of agent from the front Hydro-Chem® monitor or booster reel handline, providing an efficient dual agent fire suppression unit. Systems are also available with or without compressed air foam (CAF) capabilites. |
