Located in Snyder, Nebraska, Danko Emergency Equipment is a family-owned business that manufactures and sells high-quality firefighting and emergency vehicles to fire departments, rural fire districts, and governmental entities. We manufacture many types of vehicles including Tankers, Pumper/Tankers, Pumpers, Quick Attacks, Rescue Vehicles, Skid Units, Wildland Units, Airport Units, and other Specialty Vehicles. 

“We service what we sell” and we are aware of the needs of our customers in keeping their emergency equipment ready for use.  Local field sales employees cover our Midwest customer base.  The rest of the United States and foreign countries are covered by dealer representatives and our inside sales force. 

Currently, Danko employs over 60 personnel.  Our company size affords us the opportunity to produce a high-quality product with attention to detail in all stages of the manufacturing process.  Our sales force is courteous and knowledgeable not only in the mechanics of our equipment but also in the ever-changing needs of the fire service itself.  We listen to the needs of our customers and make every effort to meet their expectations while still managing to stay within their budgetary restraints.   Danko has the engineering expertise to manufacture specialty apparatus to fit the ever-growing needs of fire suppression equipment.

Since 1974 we have provided quality products and services at very competitive prices throughout the industry.  This has secured growth, profit, and stability for our superior workforce.  Danko has many employees with over twenty years of continuous employment and experience.  This has been a great contribution to the growth and stability of our company.  We are proud of all our employees.  They have given their time and talents to making Danko a respected name in the fire and rescue industry. 

In 2002, Danko recommitted its dedication to the fire service industry by constructing a thirty-five thousand square foot facility and equipping it with the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.  Danko has also made significant contributions to our community and the communities of our employees and valued customers.
